Beautiful Weaver Nests on all the trees at the moment.
These stunningly artful nests are made by male weaver birds, such as the Southern Masked Weaver and the Red-headed Weaver, and it’s not an easy job!
The male weaver bird starts making a knot with a long blade of grass. Then he builds a circular structure, weaving blades using his beak and feet. Next step is to weave grass around the initial ring to built a ball-shaped nest resulting in this beautiful work of art we see today!
